What is SWYP

We want to be your lifestyle partners! We have mobile plans built just for you, but also multiple discounts and vouchers in your preferred outlets and the largest wifi network in the country, so you’re always connected.

I want to be sure my service works. Do you have a network?

Yes, it is the Etisalat network which is the largest and fastest 4G LTE network in the country. So, don’t worry about having signal for your trip in the desert, or the quality of your streaming video. 4G and LTE coverage and speed from swyp are the best you can get.

Is it for me?

We’d like to be good friends with everyone, but to have the service you need to be at least 18 years old and not more than 29. If you cross 29 while you’re swyp customer, you can still keep it!

Do you have your own swyp numbers?

Yes, you can choose the number you like whether you order through the app or in a store. If you still want to keep your number, that’s possible as well. We will guide you through the migration process.

Is there a postpaid swyp?

No, swyp is a prepaid offer.

What do I get by subscribing?

As a member you get nonstop social data to access your favorite social apps, 1 GB of data, free unlimited nationwide WiFi, 120 flexi minutes, unlimited calls to your favorite swyp buddy and loads of perks! Your nonstop social is full speed the first 3GBs and it throttles thereafter. On top of this all, you will have access to additional data packs with different limits and prices to suite your needs!

Buying

OK, I am ready. What should I do?

Easy: you need to get a SIM. Present your Emirates ID, register, done.

Can I order my SIM online?

Sure! Just download the swyp app and follow the process. The SIM will be delivered at your doorstep and the registration will happen right away. With your SIM activated, you can immediately start enjoying the service.

Can I buy from an outlet?

If you don’t want to use your credit card online, you can still visit one of Etisalat’s outlets and our retail partners and request the SIM. Remember to download the swyp app right after and recharge to enjoy the benefits.

I want more than one SIM. Is it possible?

Sure is! You can get several swyp SIMs if you wish.

Using

1)What is the swyp app for?

How to keep this in four lines? Let’s try: with the swyp app you can activate your service, buy packages, check your usage and remaining balance, invite friends (and be rewarded!), send/request credit, see your monthly vouchers, redeem with just a touch, see swyp wifi network… Discover the rest!

2)Will I be charged for using the app?

The use of the app is free and there is zero impact on your consumption. Only the use of external sources (like maps) is deducted from your data balance.

3)How do I see my usage?

Oh, that’s one of the best parts! Launch the app (yes, everything is in the app!) and go to your existing packages. Click on the one you want to know about, and you’ll see how much you’ve used, how much is left and for how many days, in a beautiful and easy to understand format. No more questions or doubts.

4)What does swyp cost?

swyp has a monthly subscription of 99 AED. And with that you get all the goodies that come with the membership! Good, isn’t it? And if you want more, just make sure you have credit in your account to pick a package from our store in the app and enjoy it.

 

5)Can I invite a friend to be a swyper?

Of course! And you’ll get a reward for that, a month free of the bundle social app package with 1GB of Snapchat+Instagram, just as soon as they activate their membership!

6) Sometimes small amounts of data are deducted from a different plan. Why?

It will happen rarely, but that the content you look at, usually a video, might be outside the app you are using. In that case, there may be a small consumption from a different package due to the source of the content.

Perks

1) How do I enroll the vouchers plan?

You don’t have to. It’s open and free. We felt there’s many of these programs out there but nothing really specific for you. So with the membership you get the perks of being a swyper: access to a world of discounts and benefits in outlets that are part of your life. Each month the list is refreshed!

2) How do they work?

Easy. Go to your favorite place among dining, entertainment and shopping, show your voucher before paying, enter the code, done. That easy. Enjoy the next one.

3) How long are they valid for?

On the 1st of each month all vouchers are refreshed. Each voucher has a 30-days validity. It may be there again next month, it may be not. So don’t hesitate using it!

Billing

What happens if I don’t renew my membership?

Any package you are subscribed to will still be valid until the expiry and it’s a one time purchase. However, you will not be able to use any of the vouchers neither connect to the wifi network. Just ensure there’s 99 AED in your balance before membership expiry so you’ll still be enjoying the most out of swyp.

How can I recharge?

Etisalat’s recharge card can be used to recharge swyp accounts. So just get one from the thousand outlets where it is available, launch the app, go to recharge, enter the card number and you’re done.

I ran out of credit. Can I get a friend to help?

Sure! Just use the app to send a request any swyp or Etisalat number, and wait for a tip! You can also send a reminder if you’ve been waiting too long.

Packages

How can I buy packages?

That’s easy and fun. Just visit the store in the app, choose your package, click to buy and that’s it! Well, if you like the old fashion you can still use short codes: dial *888# and choose from the list.

Are the packages auto-renewed?

No, you will have complete control and you will be able to buy just before the expiry. We’ll let you know when it’s time, so you are not caught by surprise.

Can I buy multiple of the same package?

Sure, buy it as many times as you want. Each will have its own expiry date and you will be able to monitor it in the app.

If I buy multiple, which expiry date applies?

First come, first expiry. The one you purchased first will be consumed first. Check in the app usage screens the detail of the consumption, to have clear picture of your usage and plan your purchases.

Do you have a roaming package?

If you travel you, you can subscribe to the roaming packages that swyp offers. You can check them out on the swyp app.

What is a voice flexi plan?

It is a bundle of minutes to all national numbers and 105 international destinations you can use as you like! Check on swyp.ae if the country you wish to call is included

How can I speak to an agent?

We trust you will not need much support, but if you do, either on our website or the app, we are available to answer your questions on swyp and any doubt. Just go the support section. We like chatting, just like you.

I lost my SIM. What can I do?

Please visit an Etisalat store and ask for your swyp SIM replacement.
