What is the New Postpaid plan?
The New Postpaid is a completely new approach to how you stay in touch offering 50 Flexi bundled minutes and 100MB of bundled data for just AED 50/month (5% VAT excluded). And with our new add-on system, you can customise your New Postpaid with 7 types of add-ons, whenever you want. Beyond flexibility, you’ll enjoy great value with our new per-second billing system.
What are the connection fees of the New Postpaid plan?
The connection fee is AED 125 (5% VAT excluded).
What are the available 7 add-ons?
200 local minutes
100 international minutes
150 local, international and incoming roaming minutes
500 local and international SMSs

What does flexi minutes mean?
Flexi minutes allow you to use your minutes allowances to make local calls or international calls.
Will I be charged on a per-second basis?
No. All bundled minutes are charged on a per-minute basis.
Can I activate Combo add-on without entering a preferred number?
No. Preferred number has to be activated during Combo add-on activation.
What is the maximum number of add-ons I can have during the same month?
The maximum is 10 add-ons (per type).
What will happen if the preferred number ported out and I still have it under the free preferred number add-on?
This number will no longer be a preferred number and you will get end-of-call notifications each time you call this number. Calls to this number will be chargeable as per the normal rate.
Can I cancel it my add-on during the month?
Yes, you can cancel any add-on during the month. When you do so, the add-on rental will not be refunded and you can still use the remaining allowances until the end of the month and will be removed by the start of next month.
It is the end of the month and I still have balance from my minutes allowance; will it be carried over to the next month?
Unused allowances will not be carried over and benefits will be renewed every first of the month.
I subscribed to the add-on in the last week of the month. How I will be charged and what allowance will I get?
Charges and allowances are on a pro rata basis upon subscription

What is the consumption priority of the benefits?
The consumption will first be taken from the add-on benefits followed by the plan benefits.
Can I choose only some of the add-ons?
- Yes, you can subscribe to any of the add-ons that you choose. You can even subscribe and cancel at anytime during the month
- Prorated rental and allowances will be applied in case you add any of the add-ons anytime during the month
I am an existing postpaid customer; can I migrate to the New Postpaid plan?
- If you are an existing Postpaid user on a non-contract plan, you can migrate to the new plan by calling 101 or visiting an etisalat Business Centre.
- If you are an existing Postpaid user on a contract plan, you have to first visit an etisalat Business Centre, terminate the contract and pay the applicable exit charges and then migrate to the new plan.
I am an existing prepaid user; can I migrate to the new plan?
Yes, you can migrate to the new plan by calling 101 or visiting an etisalat Business Centre.
Will I still be able to use the service if the bill amount is not paid by the due date?
Etisalat has put in place a number of SMS reminders starting from a Mini-Statement Bill, to a warning SMS before disconnecting the service and following the legal collection process. In the event of missed payment of dues on your Mobile Postpaid account, etisalat would follow different processes to remind and recover the dues.
The process goes through a stepped approach, starting with an initial suspension of video calls functionality, followed by suspension of outgoing voice calls and SMSs and finally, a full suspension of all services.
How can I make a payment for my ceased account, if I am outside the UAE?
You can make payment through online transfer by using Electronic funds Transfer (EFT) Option to the etisalat account as per below details:

What are the usage rates for the New Postpaid Plan?
The normal usage rates apply but on a per second basis after you’ve consumed all the bundled benefits.
- 5 fils/sec for local calls for 12 months plans
- 6 fils/sec for local calls for 24 months plans (for New Postpaid Flexi/Local 150)
- 18 fils for national SMSs
- 60 fils for international SMSs
- AED 1/MB for data usage
- Standard International rates apply on per second basis.
Is there a minimum commitment period for the New Postpaid Plan?
Yes, the New Postpaid plans are offered on 12-month (New Postpaid Flexi/Local 150) or 24-month contracts.
