  1. What is Internet Calling Pack (ICP) Free Promo*?

This is a limited time special offer. Internet Calling Pack will be free for all new customers till 1st June 2020. You can opt in to this promo by sending ICP to 1012.
Additionally, you will get free and unlimited data to make voice and video app to app calls.

         2.What is Internet Calling Pack (ICP) Free and Unlimited Data offer?

This is a limited time special offer for the year 2020. When you subscribe to our Internet Calling monthly Pack, you get free and unlimited data. You’ll be able to use it to make voice and video app to app calls.
If you already have an Internet Calling monthly Pack , you’ll automatically get free and unlimited data to make voice and video app to app calls.

         3. What is the validity of the ICP Free and Unlimited Data offer?

The ICP Free and Unlimited Data offer is valid for 12 months until 27th December 2020.

        4.What are the benefits of ICP?

    • Chatting, voice note functions, picture/video sharing and contact and location sharing
    • HD quality voice and video calls.

Group chat (only on BOTIM).  

        5.How does daily ICP work?

With daily ICP (DICP) you get 1 GB data (valid for one day) for AED 5.25. This offer is only available to Prepaid customers.

        6. Does DICP auto-renew?

No it doesn’t.

        7.How will I be charged for DICP?

We’ll take your daily ICP subscription charge from your More Time balance only, so make sure it’s topped up before you subscribe.

       8.What is the grace period for daily ICP?

DICP doesn’t auto-renew so there’s no grace period.

      9.How many times can I activate DICP per day?

A maximum of three times.

      10. How can I check my data balance?

Dial *135*35# or SMS ‘Bal’ or ‘Balance’ to 1355.

      11. What happens when I finish my 1 GB?

Once your allowance is over, any other active data bundles you have will kick in. You can also re-subscribe for DICP as long as you have not exceeded the 3/day limit.

      12. Will this pack work for both BOTIM & C’Me apps?

Yes.

      13. How do I subscribe to ICP?

Download one or more of the supported apps and register with your mobile number, follow the instructions below to activate the ICP pack you want, and start making unlimited app-to-app voice and video calls.

        15. How does ICP work inside and outside the UAE?

  1. Basic Chat option will be available when you register with a valid UAE number.

To use ICP outside the UAE, make sure you’re roaming with us, and using a registered WiFi/mobile connection.

App-to-phone calls cannot be made with this service.

  1. How will I be charged for ICP?

Prepaid:

For Extra and Easy Social Plan customers, charges will be deducted from either your limited or unlimited balance. For PAYG, Business Prepaid Hybrid or Auto-Top Up Plans, charges will be deducted from your More Time balance.

Postpaid:

Charges will be added to your monthly bill. If you deactivate in the middle of your cycle, your charges will be prorated. Multi SIM customers will only be charged on one line, but can use ICP from any of their lines.

Home:

Charges will be added to your monthly bill. If you deactivate in the middle of your cycle, your charges will be prorated. Any device connected to your home internet will be able to use ICP.

  1. Who can subscribe to ICP?
    • All Consumer and Business Prepaid and Postpaid customers
    • All Consumer Home customers.
    • All Data SIM customers
    • All MNP Port-in customers Note: ICP services will not work on public WiFi or corporate networks.    
  2. How long is ICP valid for and how much does the pack cost?

Monthly ICP is valid for 30 days, and costs AED 52.5 for mobile users and AED 105 for fixed (i.e. Home) services. Monthly ICP packs auto-renew until cancelled. Daily ICP is valid for 1 day, and costs AED 5.25. This pack does not auto-renew.

  1. What happens if I’m a Prepaid customer, but I don’t have enough balance?

If you don’t have enough balance for your monthly ICP to auto-renew, we’ll extend the pack depending on the More Time balance you have available.

  1. Will Business customers also have unrestricted access to ICP?

All Business Postpaid customers can subscribe to this service. If you’re in an MPR or IPR price group, you can activate ICP by SMS. For all other corporate customers, you’ll need to contact your Account Manager or administrator to activate the service.

  1. Can I get ICP with my mobile and fixed services at the same time?

Yes, you can. We’ll simply charge you separately for each.

  1. If I subscribe to ICP on a fixed line, will all my connected devices have access to the supported apps?

Yes, they will.

  1. Can I use ICP while roaming?

Yes, you can, as long as you’re on one of our roaming packs. Your data charges will be as per standard roaming rates or whichever roaming pack you are subscribed to.

  1. For home services, what technology will support ICP services?

All our home access technology will support our ICP service.

  1. How can I activate free ICP for People of Determination?

ICP service will be activated automatically for Free for People of Determination, after the successful validation of their documents.

  1. What is ‘step down charging’?

Step down charging allows you to renew your ICP pack based on the amount of credit you have left in your wallet. Therefore, if you don’t have enough balance to auto-renew for a full month, you can still enjoy the service uninterrupted until you top up.

  1. Who is eligible for step down charging?

Step down charging is for Prepaid customers only.

  1. I’ve subscribed to ICP on my mobile, why are calls to/from the BOTIM desktop app not working?

To use BOTIM on your desktop you need to make sure your computer is connected to your handset’s personal hotspot.

  1. I’ve subscribed to ICP for Home, can I use the BOTIM desktop?

Yes, you can use the BOTIM desktop app to make unlimited calls as long as your device is connected to your home internet.
