What is the New Control Line?
The New Control Line is a new concept that gives you full control over usage and bills. You receive a monthly bill with a fixed amount, and if you want to use more, you can simply recharge your credit balance and use more minutes or data anytime during the month.

How does the New Control Line work?
The New Control Line is a mix of a postpaid and a prepaid line. You receive a monthly bill with a fixed amount that cannot exceed the monthly rental. If you consume the given minutes and data, you can use more or purchase additional packs simply by recharging your credit balance using a variety of methods, such as credit card, Smiles points or a prepaid recharge card. In addition to extra usage, credit balance can also be used for the monthly bill payment.

How can I pay for my bill and recharge my balance?
Bill payment: Bill payments are dedicated to settle your bills and any extra payment amount cannot be used for extra usage. You can pay your bill using your credit card, Smiles points or your credit balance via Etisalat online services, the My Etisalat UAE app or by dialling *555#.
Credit balance: This balance can be used to make extra usage or purchase saving packs, and it can also be used to make a bill payment. You can top up your credit balance using your credit card, Smiles points or prepaid recharge cards, via Etisalat online services, the My Etisalat UAE app or by dialling *555#.
What will happen if did not pay my bill even if I have enough balance ?
The monthly bill is not automatically deducted from your credit balance. You need to visit Etisalat online services, log in to the My Etisalat UAE app or dial *555# to pay the bill from your balance. Failing to do so temporarily disconnects the service and your credit balance cannot be used to make calls, send SMSs or access data.
What is the preferred number and how can I use it ?
You can now configure one Etisalat mobile number to be your preferred number and enjoy free calls to this number. However, a fair usage policy will be applied after using 1,000 minutes and calls will be charged as normal local calls. You can change the preferred number once a month. To configure or change the preferred number, simply dial *555#.
What is the additional preferred number add-on and how can I use it ?
If you have another preferred number that you would like to call, you can subscribe to the additional preferred number add-on for AED 40 monthly. You can configure any local mobile number to be your additional preferred number and enjoy free calls to this number. However, a fair usage policy will be applied after using 1,000 minutes and calls will be charged as normal local calls. You can change the preferred number once a month. To configure or change the preferred number, simply dial *555#.
What is 1GB non-stop data?
You will be able to use 2GB of data (1GB + promotional 1GB) at full speed and when it is consumed, you will keep enjoying non-stop data at a lower speed of 64Kbps.
What can I do if I’ve consumed my minutes or data ?
You can simply recharge your credit balance using a prepaid card and use on per-minute basis or select any of the available prepaid add-ons by dialling *555#.
Will the charges for the prepaid add-ons be added to my bill?
No. Your bill cannot exceed the AED 80. You need to recharge your line with sufficient balance in order to avail the savings pack.
What are flexi minutes?
Flexi minutes allow you to make both local and international calls.
How much do I pay to start using the new New Control Line?
There is a one-time connection fee of AED 80.
I am an existing Postpaid customer; can I migrate to the New Control Line?
If you are an existing Postpaid customer on a non-contract plan, you can migrate to the New Control Line by calling 101 or visiting an Etisalat Business Centre. If you are an existing Postpaid customer on a contract plan, you should visit an Etisalat Business Centre and pay the applicable exit charges, and then you will be able to migrate to the New Control Line.
I am an existing Prepaid customer; can I migrate to the New Control Line?
Yes, you can migrate to the New Control Line by calling 101 or visiting an Etisalat Business Centre.
Will the flexi minutes in my plan be applied to all countries?
The flexi minutes saving packs will be applied to most countries.

How can I cancel my New Control Line?
You can cancel your New Control Line by visiting your nearest Etisalat outlet or calling 101.
Will I still be able to use the service if the bill amount is not paid by the due date?
After the bill issuance, you have 10 days to settle it. Etisalat will remind you about the payment by sending an SMS, starting from a mini-statement bill, to a warning SMS before disconnecting the service and following the legal collection process.
In the event of missed payment of dues on your mobile Postpaid account, Etisalat would follow different processes to remind you and recover the dues. The process goes through a stepped approach, starting with an initial suspension of video calls, followed by suspension of outgoing voice calls and SMS and, finally, a full suspension of all services (incoming calls, SMS and data communication).
How I will be charged after consuming my benefits and start using Pay-as-You-Go?

It is the end of the month and I still have a balance of 20 local minutes; will they be carried over to the next month?
Unfortunately, there is no carryover of unused benefits; they renew every first of the month.
What is the consumption priority of the benefits?
Priority of consumption will be first for the add-on, followed by the basic bundle allowance.
Can I call special numbers using my bundle minutes?
No, special numbers cannot be called using the bundle allowance.
